Two layers of organic cotton actually hold up through a full day of spit-up, which surprised me since the thinner cloths I had before soaked straight through to my shirt. They wash clean every time and haven't gotten scratchy after a dozen cycles.
After three rounds of spit-up during one feeding, these still had a dry spot left to wipe her face with—the absorbency genuinely surprised me. Softness is exactly what you'd hope for with organic cotton against a newborn's chin.
These are the only burp cloths that actually stay soft after a dozen washes, and the two layers of organic cotton soak up everything my little one throws at them. We’ve gone through the whole pack in three days without a single leak reaching my shirt.
